Formation Leader
Mandie DeVries

Mandie DeVries became fascinated by children's religious formation even before the birth of her first child. Searching for the best way to raise her children in the faith led her to the discovery of Catechesis of the Good Shepherd (CGS) in 2004, and for over twenty years now, the DeVries family has lived into the spirituality of this movement. A Level I (3-6 year old) and Level II (6-9 year old) formation leader, Mandie is trained in all three levels of CGS, as well as receiving certification in Seminal Infant Toddler Formation. She has used this experience to serve families in both parish and hybrid school settings. In 2024, she continued her pursuit of questions of human spiritual formation in Washington, D.C, entering a PhD program at the Pontifical John Paul II Institute for Studies in Marriage and Family.
